Bio:

Allan Glaser is a producer know for the feature films Lust in the Dust, Tab Hunter Confidential, and Tab & Tony. He was born and raised in Norfolk, VA and attended University of Southern California. While at USC, Glaser was employed at 20th Century Fox, where he ultimately became Director of Acquisitions of feature films. While in that position he met Tab Hunter. The two formed Fox Run Productions and produced Lust in the Dust, starring Hunter, Divine, and Lainie Kazan. Released in 1985, the film was a hit and landed Glaser a production deal at 20th Century Fox. Glaser’s next film, Dark Horse, was based on a story by Tab Hunter. It starred Mimi Rogers and Ed Begley, Jr., and premiered at Cannes Film Festival. Glaser convinced Hunter to write his autobiography, which became a New York Times best-seller. They then turned the book into the critically-acclaimed documentary of the same name, Tab Hunter Confidential, which premiered at SXSW 2015 before enjoying a successful run in theaters and then on Netflix. Between his feature film work, Glaser worked as a production executive for several major studios. Allan and Tab were life partners from 1983 until 2013, when they married, and then spouses until Hunter’s death in 2018.

Bio:

MariNaomi is the award-winning author and illustrator of almost 10 books. Their work has appeared in nearly 100 print publications and has been featured on websites such as The New Yorker’s Daily Shouts, The Washington Post, LA Times, The Rumpus, LA Review of Books, Midnight Breakfast, SF Examiner, and BuzzFeed. Their comics have been translated into French, German, and Russian.
MariNaomi’s comics and paintings have been featured in the Smithsonian, the de Young Museum, the Cartoon Art Museum, the Asian Art Museum, and the Japanese American National Museum.
In 2011 and 2018, Mari toured with the literary roadshow Sister Spit. They are the founder and administrator of the Cartoonists of Color Database, the Queer Cartoonists Database, and the Disabled Cartoonists Database. They have taught classes for the California College of the Arts Comics MFA program, and was a guest editor for PEN Illustrated. They were cohost of the Ask Bi Grlz podcast with author Myriam Gurba.
MariNaomi lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with their partner and a menagerie of beloved rescue animals.

Tate reflects on his challenging childhood from rural North Carolina to poverty in Central Florida, and their move to 1970s Houston. He details his battle with repressed sexuality and escalating drinking, leading to rock bottom. Tate’s story resonates as he pursues self-acceptance and inner peace. A Houston-based attorney, speaker, author, and educator, Tate lives with his husband, Anson, and their dog, Emerson.

C.H. Williams is a fantasy author and illustrator living in the Mid-Atlantic with his husband, a very spunky dog, and two troublesome cats. With a repertoire of character-driven high fantasy novels, his writing couples the darker side of fairy tales with the radiance and joy of queer love. When not causing trouble or spending time doing foundry work with his husband, he can be found walking in the woods and listening to music. Before delving into the realms of magic, he worked as a classical musician, actively performing and conducting research about musicians’ relationship to gender. He has since pivoted to legal work during the day and writing dark, contemplative fantasy at night.
His writing touches on the soft, small moments of magic made when we cultivate our gardens amid the storms, and on the immensity of experience as he explores character-driven stories that play out realistic decisions and consequences of a fantastical universe.

Willie Edward Taylor Carver Jr. has spent his entire life dedicated to student success. He holds degrees in French and English from Morehead State University, where he focused his studies on advocacy for students, particularly first generation, Appalachian, and minoritized students. He began his work in eastern Kentucky, later studying and teaching in France. In 2022, Carver was named Kentucky Teacher of the Year and Ambassador to the Kentucky Department of Education, where he created a platform of inclusion and advocacy for LGBTQ+, BIPOC, and Appalachian students. His work has been published in Kentucky Teacher, Education Week, and EdPost. Carver’s story has been featured on NBC, PBS, NPR, and other news outlets.
